I understand that volunteering with the American Saddlebred Horse & Breeders Association ("ASHBA") during the Kentucky State Fair and related events may involve certain risks, including but not limited to exposure to horses and other animals, interaction with exhibitors and members of the public, transportation of materials, setup and breakdown
activities, walking on uneven surfaces, and other inherent risks associated with equine events and public gatherings.
I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation as a volunteer and accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense that may result from my participation.
In consideration of being permitted to volunteer for ASHBA, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless ASHBA, its officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, sponsors, event organizers, volunteers, and the Kentucky State Fair Board from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation as a volunteer, including those resulting from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I agree to conduct myself in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner while representing ASHBA. I understand that ASHBA reserves the right to dismiss any volunteer whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or contrary to the organization's mission and policies.
